Hi, I’m Rob from Woodward English and today we’re going to learn vocabulary associated with the eye and the eyes. eyes The round globular organs in your

Example sentence You will damage your eyes if you stare too long at the Sun. eyelid The pieces of skin above and below the eye that cover it when you close your eyes The eyelids are there mainly to cover and protect your eyes. They use glue …. aargh! …. like this …. No, not this type of glue. It’s a type of adhesive that is included with the eyelash so it sticks a lot easier and it makes them appear a lot better. There is an expression which is to flutter your eyelashes. Like this. Flutter is normally used when a bird or insect hovers more or less in the same place by quickly moving its wings up and down… like this. It is not flying where it moves from one place to another place. No, it flutters, it stays more or less in the same place. And the way the wings quickly move up and down can also be used to refer to the way eyelashes quickly move up and down. You flutter your eyelashes. Sometimes a lady flutters their eyelashes to attract someone in order to persuade them to do something. Please! It doesn’t always work though. eyebrow The line of hair that is above each eye.
