Natural looking party makeup for blue eyes how to make blue eyes pop eyeshadow for blue eyes makeup for blue eyes women over 40 makeup eye makeup over 40 You have to get out of the background. You can stay but you can’t stay there you can stay but you cant stay here? right. you’re in the background Hey guys! Welcome back to my channel I hope you’re having a great day! Today’s video is a makeup tutorial on the makeup for blue eyes I’m wearing right now. I was going for a natural looking office party look but my husband came in and said it’s a office party makeup look it’s just a party makeup look but I disagree. I don’t have any winged eyeliner on o heavy eyeliner or anything light that which is office party appropriate but whatever, where ever you want to wear it it’s a holiday makeup look! that is office party appropriate it says I have fun, but not too much fun it says I make good decisions because I have a job you know what I’m saying? you do, I know you do If you’d like to see how I got this look then just keep watching how to make blue eyes pop with eyeshadow for blue eyes for women over 40 So I’m going to start by priming my undereyes with the Smashbox Hydrating Primer and I’m priming my face with the Too Faced Hangover Rx Primer I start using this as soon as the weather turns cold it’s so hydrating then I’m using the Amazing Cosmetics line filler on the wrinkles on my forehead and the Dr Brandt Pores no More where my pores are a little bigger on my cheeks and also on my chin It’s my favorite pore filer of the moment then I’m going to fill in my eyebrows with Anastasia Brow Wiz I’m filling in the sparse parts which for me I have to make the tail a little bit longer & the top and the arch a little & then I brush it through with the spooly on the other end I’m priming my eyelids with the Benefit Stay Don’t Stray I love this primer. It makes your eyeshadow look better & last longer I’m starting by using the color Custard from the Lorac Mega Pro 2 palette it’s close to my natural skin tone & I’m putting it under my brow and down to the crease this will make the other eyeshadows blend better I’m keeping it off the eyelid now I’m going in with the color tawny it will be our first transition shade I’m working that into the crease with the Sigma E35 brush I like to use the circular motions to make it fade up toward the eyebrow & the windshoeld wiper motions to put it on then I’m going in with the color Burlap this is a little deeper shade & we’re going to use it to define the crease this is the MAC 217 brush I’m working that into the crease making sure it doesn’t overlap the other one then I’m blending out the edges with the Sigma E35 then I’m going in with the color penny I’m putting that all over the lid it’s a really pretty copper gold shade it really make my blue eyes pop and really stand out. My husband complemented me on the eye look & the makeup in general like four times the day I was wearing it I think because the eyeshadow is orange really makes your blue eyes pop because it’s the contrasting color to blue so if you have blue eyes this copper shade will look stunning on you then for my dark circles I’m using the MAC color corrector duo in the peach shade I’ve been loving the product. It does such a good job covering up the dark circles as you can see the difference here then I’m going to dot the cover Fx oil free foundation all over my face and blend it in with the brush after I blended it in with the brush just on this portion of my face it felt really heavy and I didn’t like it so i went over it with a beauty blender over my whole face as you see here it felt so much better after I ran the beauty blender damped beauty blender all over my face then I put the foundation on my forehead using the beauty blender I abandoned the whole brush technique I also added oil to the foundation I think if you don’t add a drop of oil then it’s hard to work with this is the Sephora Bright Future Concealer I really liked this concealer but I didn’t like how the wand didn’t dispense much product. I had to go back in like four times per each under eye to get the amount of product that I wanted it did blend beautifully it lasted all day & was really nice I just don’t like the appilcation I’m using it to highlight mu nose cupids bow and chin & I’ll put a little on my forehead as well then I’ll blend it all out with with the dampened beauty blender also and I’ll blend it out underneath my eyes like I said this concealer was really nice and is medium coverage but with the MAC color correcting duo it’s pretty full coverage especially once you set it with the laura mercier secret brightening powder I always run the beauty blender on the crease between the concealer & foundation to make sure it’s blended together then I’m setting the concealer with the Laura Mercier Secret Brightening Powder I love this for underneath my eyes & i’ll use it sometimes to set the concealer if I’m using it as a highlighter I’ll use it to set that as well it gives it a little extra brightness then I’m using the Revlon Nearly Naked Powder to set the rest of my face & I’m using the Sigma stippling brush to see how I like this for powder application I actaully prefer the big powder brush application I like to use this duo fiber brush to blend but this powder is really great it was in my daughters November favorites I’ll link that video down below for a brow highlight I’m using the colors sugar & porcelain mixed together I’m putting that underneath the brow bone to lift our eyes and blend it out then for the inner corner I’m using the Laura Mercier highlight 01 with this little Sigma detailing brush this highlight was in the Sephora Favorites Superstars box I did a whole video on that I’ll link that down below so you can watch that then I blend out the edges then I’m using the color tawny on my lower lash line then I’m putting the color penny on top of it I didn’t use Fix Plus or eye drops with this color so it’s not super intense when you use it dry so you can be pretty liberal with it underneath your eyes then I blended again then I blend out the edge with that same brush we used first here I’m connecting the corner just to make it a little more dramatic then I’m going in with the Too Faced Chocolate Soleil Bronzer in the shade medium deep it’s a matte bronzer and it’s not as strong as MAC give me sun it doesn’t have as much of an orange undertone so I like to put it on my forehead down the sides of my face I really like this MAC brush but it is expensive I apply it on my jaw line as well this is the MAC 135 brush Morphe has a dupe, the M500 I think so you can do the bronzer face & this brush is great to get a contour effect by putting it on your cheekbones putting the bronzer there it gives you contour before you go in with contour powder for days you don’t want to use contour powder you can use this technique and it will give you a little bit of contour without using an extra product I’m building up the color until it’s the intensity that I want then I used the contour shade in the Kat Von D shade & light palette and blended that out again with the MAC 135 just to give my cheeks more definition because it is a party look then I’m using the Wet n’ Wild Pearlescent Pink blush I used this in my Jennifer Lopez makeup tutorial I’ll link that down below also it gives a natural flush to your cheeks this time I kept it more on the apples of my cheeks I wanted my face to be a little more plain because I put on all the copper gold eyeshadow then I’m highlighting with the Laura Mercier Highlight 01 I put the excess on the side of my face and up on the brow. It gives a nice glow to the side of your face which is great for a party look & I’m putting it on my nose & cupids bow & blending it out again lots of blending all the time this is the yellow shade in the Marc Jacobs Mirage palette I really like this yellow powder to carve out my cheekbones it’s really nice & finely milled I’ve heard people don’t like it but I love it then I put the Lancome Liqui Drama pencil in my waterline this stuff is no joke. It stays all day long. does not budge then of course I used the It Cosmetics Tightline I love this stuff it makes every mascara look better this is the Wet n’ Wild Fanatic Cat Eye mascara this is a great mascara it doesn’t flake and it lasted all day & I think it’s like $3 then I’m exfoliating my lips using the Elf exfoliating lipstick because I’m going to use a longwear lipstick then my husband came in & was talking to me Do you want to go to Tampa? that’s crazy. you don’t want to I don’t have the right eye makeup on Maybe if I’d put it on darker I’d be like okay you do have the right eye makeup on Oh…I thought this was office party eye makeup no really?! I don’t think so this is a shocking turn of events that this is not a office party look I don’t know what he’s talking about. I still think this is an office party look this is the Milani lipliner in the color natural this is one of the Loreal extended wear lipticks This is the color Neverending nutmeg this is the color Jennifer Lopez’s makeup artist uses on her a lot this is the gloss you put on top to make it feel more comfortable which really makes a big difference and this is the finished product! I hope you like it! so that’s it for this tutorial.
