In this video we’ll take a look at
how to use the Eyedropper to select a colour directly from the canvas.
One way of selecting a colour using the Eyedropper is to touch and hold
anywhere on the canvas until the Eyedropper appears.
Or, while holding the Modify button, touch and hold anywhere on the canvas
with the Apple Pencil to quickly invoke the Eyedropper. Other options for using the Eyedropper can be found
in Actions, then Preferences, then Gesture Controls. Then select ‘Eyedropper’
to see a list of input options. Using the touch-hold gesture
we can use this slider to adjust the amount of delay before the Eyedropper appears.
We’ll set that to about 0.1 of a second, and see how that feels.
It feels pretty good. Play around with the settings
